We are excited to feature artist circle member, Nora Montañez Patterson as the Director of this upcoming reading. Isabella Condo Olivera and James Rodriquez will star as actors. Nora’s tenacity and own enthusiasm around new work aligns with our goals for offering a development platform for emerging directors, actors, and designers. We are giddy about this talented team of artists and invite the community to this special evening celebrating adventurous voices in theater. This in person reading will be followed by a brief Q&A with the artists. Register below.
When Lucia, a Mexican-born novelist, gets her first TV writing job she feels a bit out of place on the white male-dominated set. Lucia quickly becomes friends with the only other Latino around a janitor named Abel. As Abel shares his stories with Lucia similar plots begin to find their way into the TV scripts that Lucia writes. FADE is a play about class and race within the Latinx community as well as at large and how status does not change who you are at your core.

Street parking is better, the lot is only open to guests before 7 pm. There’s street parking on Charles Ave and between University Ave and Myrtle Ave.
Come in through the entrance by the flags on Charles Ave (through the parking lot) and the community room is right there!
