Our Circle is Revolving!

Stephanie Lein Walseth, Our New Co-Artistic Director

After eight years of growth and success, our company circle is revolving, and we are excited to announce two significant changes to our staff structure!

This fall, Stephanie Lein Walseth is stepping into the role of Co-Artistic Director alongside Rick Shiomi.

In her own words:

“I am honored and humbled to be taking on this new mantle at Full Circle. This company has been my artistic home since 2014, and my work with the indefatigable team of Rick and Martha spans more than two decades, so this feels like a very organic and generative next step. I am thrilled to be able to continue to grow this multiracial, multicultural, multigenerational company whose mission of making the world a more racially and socially just place through theater so closely aligns with my own goals. And what a fabulous team of Core Artists, staff, board members, and broader Full Circle family to be in relationship with as we move the work forward! This is not the end, but rather a beautiful revolution of our ever-growing circle.”

Thank you, Martha B. Johnson!

We thank Martha B. Johnson for all your incredible work making Full Circle the company it is today.

After serving as Co-Artistic Director with Rick Shiomi since our founding in 2014, Martha is stepping away to focus on Full Circle artistic work and serving on our Core Artist Leadership Group.

In her own words:

“I’m thrilled and honored that Stephanie is our new Co-Artistic Director. Nowhere could we have found a more talented, experienced, and passionate visionary theater artist to help lead us into the future.”

Quinci's Movin’ On Up!

After starting as Full Circle's intern back in 2015 and in recent years becoming our General Manager and Production Associate, Quinci Bachman is now becoming Full Circle's Managing Director.

In their own words:

"Full Circle has been my work home for the past seven years. It has always been incredibly welcoming and nurturing, and has allowed me to do things I never thought possible. I'm excited for all of that to continue and grow as I move into my new role here at Full Circle."
