The Future is Ours: A Futuristic Fundraiser

FULL CIRCLE THEATER’S MAY 5TH FUTURISTIC FUNDRAISER SPARKS AGENCY & CHANGE! 

The event titled The Future is Ours is on May 5, 2025 6:00 PM at WORKSHOP featuring Thomasina Petrus

Minneapolis, MN – Full Circle Theater Company will present its inaugural season-end fundraiser. The company hosts this event in celebration of its 10th anniversary, taking place at WORKSHOP (1300 Quincy St. NE Minneapolis, MN 55413) on May 5th from 6-8 pm, and will feature music, wine & refreshments and special guests, Ashe Jaafaru, Oogie_Push and Thomasina Petrus. The evening will bring together artists, producers, social activators, designers and audiences from many walks of life.  The message is one of empowerment and responsibility, embedded in the belief that theater makers have the power to shape the future through choice and action. 

Co-Artistic Director, Shá Cage comments, “Despite the current political or social reality, now is a time to mobilize our communities and create powerful social change through our work.”  

The fundraiser will be held in a beautiful venue that is nestled in the Northeast Arts District in collaboration with local designers and visionaries who also believe in the collective power of the arts. The space offers an architectural and social palette — making for the perfect futuristic invitation.  Although not required, audiences are encouraged to wear futuristic attire. This alone entices an exciting outlook on a new season of theater!

Tickets can be purchased from March 31st - April 31st on their website www.fullcircletheatermn.org or in person on the day of the event. Raffle tickets for gift baskets, Timberwolves tickets, and vacation getaways can be purchased in advance online or in person.
