Lisa Vogel
Core Artist Leader
Lisa Vogel (she/her) is a Minneapolis-based actor, singer, educator, and special education teacher.
As a performer, Lisa has appeared in productions with Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Theater Latté Da, Artistry, History Theatre, Yellow Tree Theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, Lyric Arts, Shakespeare & Company, and Lakeshore Players. Beyond the Twin Cities, she has performed with New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire, American Family Theater in Philadelphia, and Merry-Go-Round Playhouse (now The Rev Theatre Company) in upstate New York.
In 2025, Lisa was selected to participate in the Guthrie Lab, where she further honed her craft under the guidance of acclaimed teaching artists including Maija GarcÃa, William Sturdivant, Nathan Keepers, Annie Enneking, Michelle O’Neill, Ghylian Bell, JD Steele, Casey Lewis, Andrew Wade, Ansa Akyea, and Full Circle’s own Shá Cage.
Lisa has previously worked as a teaching artist with Lyric Arts’ education program, where she enjoyed helping students build confidence and skill in theater. As an educator, her mission has always been to ensure that every student feels successful, seen, and proud of their creative work.
When not performing, you’ll find Lisa in the classroom as a special education teacher, crafting and sewing, or spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved furry companion, Lulu.
Lisa holds a BFA from Emerson College in Boston and a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
